Chorus
There's two separate guitar parts for the chorus, and a little fill at the end. I'll put the rhythm under
lead so
you can see when to hit the chords on the rhythm part.
The last time, when the rhythm is playing the low C# and then the A on the first fret, there's a little
that goes like this:
I think there's actually a 3rd guitar part on the recording that plays something else and ends with that
fill, but it's too hard to discern from the recording. This is a problem that gets worse as the song goes
I think there's like 6 guitars playing at the very end.
Next part
The second and fourth time you play this, instead of playing -2-3- at the end, play this:
Next part:
At this point the guitar chugs away at the low C#, (listen to the record for the rhythm, it would be
totry to tab it out on here), hits the weird D chord, then goes back into the verse and repeats everything
been played so far. There's another guitar part that goes over the last part the I tabbed out for you that's run through a wah-wah pedal and a phaser of some kind, but I'll let you figure that out (come on, it's two
and I've figured out everything else for you!) Anyway, after that it goes back and forth between the C# and the D while slowing down, and hits a final C#. Then comes the beginning of the big finale.
Then a rhythm part comes in. You'll have to listen to the record for the timing, but here's the chords:
-3 - - - - - - - - 3 - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Then this:
Part #2
-8- - - 8- - 8- - 8- - 8- - 8- - 8 - -8 - -8 - -8- - 8 - -8 - 6 - - 6 - -6- - 6 - -6 - -6 - -6- - 6 - -6 -
Part #3 (tremolo pick these notes; use the same timing as the last two parts)
Part #4 (tremolo pick the first note)
-24- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
- -18 - -18 - -18 - -18 - -18 -
The recording fades out from there. So there it is, all 11 and a half glorious minutes of it.
Note: If you're going to play this live, it's pretty important that your bass player has a HUGE distorted
for the last part to hold down the rhythm behind all the trebly shit that the guitars are doing. Have
and rock out!
