The pressure builds, you buy a gift, you're hoping that your dread will lift

It glitters on her like a glass, you shudder as it comes to pass

Apologize, to Lucelill, converse with Ed, a drive with Jill

Your freinds confine you in thier worlds, one by one, a string of pearls

Confused you say, "This isn't me." You hover in thier unity

Ashamed you slowly lose your grasp, release the links, undo the clasp

The skin that drips down off the tree, or peels back slowly from your knee

Erupts into your lung and heart, you laugh and laughing, fall apart

Laugh and laughing fall apart...

If you've ever heard the song you know how it goes from here. It's a pretty

easy song to play, I like to chance it to open chords on "The skin that drips

down..." Just because it adds a little variety to the song and is easier on

my fingers. Anyhoo, enjoy!
